Default Too much student loan debt?!?

I am in my second year at the University
of Arizona. I am paying out of state tuition solely through student loans,
most of which are private. My parents' income places me out of reach of many
government sponsored loans, grants, and scholarships but they will not pay for
my college expenses. They do cosign for my loans but the realization that I
will be near $100,000 in debt upon graduation has been weighing more and more
heavily on me. I am not sure of how unique my situation is but I
feel like I have a lack of options. I am very aware of scholarships and have
been pursuing several through sites such as Fastweb. What do I do? Do I have any other options? Thanks for any advice.

in my opinion you should try some bank's and ask for the student loan, they solve your problem very soon. in now days the several banks gave the student loan, there interest rates are also very less for students

Dear,

Going to bank is a right option however, since u are worried about the debt obligation at the end of graduation so what i suggest is that you should look for a combination of scholarship as well as funding from a bank.

You shoul look for a Student Loan or educational loans from any banks in such a way that they provide some kind of gestation period after your graduation. What I mean by gestation period is that you will get some time after your graduation (may be 6 months or a year) when u actually start repaying the loan. This will help you to settle down after your graduation and you will not be worried about repayment immidiately after graduation.

Another option cud be ballooning repayment of the student loan where by EMIs for the loan are structured in such a way that initially it is a smaller amount and it goes on increasing as you start settling down in your job and growing in life.

Hope the views will help you. All the very best.

I guess its a very nice suggestion for Eron. If the current student loan is causing financial burdens on you, you can take another loan from a good bank with low interest rates, and features like gestation period and ballooning repayment to pay off the current student loan. Loans with features mentioned will help you out with your troubles.

All the Best
