Default Is it advisable to consolidate debt using a foreign bank?

I have a debt - student loans 60K +.

If I consolidated with an overseas bank where their dollar was worth less than ours, would that cut off some of the fat (the way I understand it, countries with a less valuable dollar means our money buys more), or, at worst, get a more competitive interest rate, and have a lower monthly payment?
