I don't belive you have to. I work for a transit company (city buses). Your question has come up many times at work. We were told that the company has insurance for a reason (not only because they have to). If you are in an accident with their vehicle, while working then their insurance has to take care of any costs. Also told, if we are asked to provide our personal insurance papers in such a case - REFUSE to provide them. The only thing the police need to see is (in Ontario anyways) is proof of ownership, proof of insurance for the said vehicle, CVOR and your drivers license.
