I've found that a lot of it depends on the relationship you build with the agent. Geico may be cheapest on paper, but if you build a relationship, a lot of agents will give you a "special" discount that beats all other rates. We use Mercury Insurance, and they have given us a deal that isn't advertised, but beats all the competitive offers.
