Your not alone. Most people are scared of the unknown. You will be just fine. Nothing to be scared of. I bet when you goto court its just a cafeteria style hearing. Anyhow keeping perfect credit is very difficult now. What we are seeing is that people who had 700+ ratings now are sitting below 600 now for nothing they did. What has happened is lenders are dropping everyones availiable credit down to the amount they owe. The more you pay off the more lenders drop your available credit. This offsets your debt to credit ratio which makes other lenders think your living beyond your means and you have everything maxed out. Once this ball gets rolling nothing will stop it. Is it worth to keep perfect credit when the same lender probably wont even give you a loan now? Only you can answer that question.
